Joining RedGage
By Sandy Mertens
Joining RedGage back in August 2009 it seemed a bit intimidating to me. I am pretty good at finding my way around, but I found it easy to get lost. Signing up was easy enough. After filling out some information I was impressed with how they had automatically uploaded some of my blogs and Facebook information. On my profile page I added many of my Squidoo lenses (but not all), added my Twitter Account, eZine, HubPages and my domain sites. I had seen RedGage before and wondered what it was all about. Once I joined, I wondered why I hadn’t done this sooner. It took some reading and watching the many tutorials that is offered to figure my way around. I actually found more help in other social networks, since I found it hard to find my way around. RedGage seems simple to me now. At first I thought it was me, but many people have asked for help on “How do you make a blog or how do you upload your articles.” So now I don’t feel so bad. Redgage is a great place to gain backlinks, bookmark your sites, products, social network articles, add photos and the list goes on. To top it off the more active you are in this social network site, the better chance of receiving bonuses. Every day there is a $25 drawing. If your shares are featured, then you can make a few or several dollars and sometimes more. All this adds up to a nice chunk of change without really much effort on your part. The draw back is that the money is added to a Visa debit card which a $2.50 monthly fee is placed on it after several months. I have not run into a problem with this yet. But even if you withdrew $25 and $2.50 is deducted, that gives you $22.50 that you didn’t have before. The links below are to articles that show how to upload a blog and photo. The one article shows how to customize your collection group and links to the sites tutorials. It also explains more on what is RedGage. Thank you for sharing this information, Sandy. I don't think that I am ready to handle RedGage right now. I'll be studying it further. Good external links. Best to you. Frederick

You are welcome.
Someone else posted about RedGage a few days ago. I went to the site and joined. I haven't taken a lot of time with it yet. At first glance it looked a bit confusing. I have already had several friend requests there, so I guess I will start using it. I posted a blog yesterday that was a bit of a repeat from Qondio. I don't think they penalize you for duplicate content.

It can be a little confusing. I wrote a couple of articles that show the step-by-step on uploading photos and blog post. You can find them on the external links on this page. Hey Jim, I accidentally deleted your last comment. I have sent this article to RedGage, but I have yet to upload any others from Qondio
There must be something wrong with my computer. The picture on the card looks like a yellow gauge. Being a redneck at heart this is a red gauge I will check out the website.

Nice pic of the red gage.
You have been most helpful. I found your two posts to be more informative than anything on the RedGage site. You would think they would have a "Help" button on my RedGage dashboard. I even typed "Help" in the search box and got nothing from RedGage I re-posted the same intel that I only got three and a half stars on here. It got 5 stars on RedGage and was featured. They have better taste lol Thanks for your Hubs and Lens Jim O

I don't know why Jim, but on Qondio people always give me poor ratings. I think some of my articles here are better than many that have excellent ratings. Maybe this is why I haven't published much on this site.
Hi Sandy, You've brought me here to qondio. Maybe I'll follow you to RedGage at some point. One thing at a time, Sheilamarie, one thing at a time!
Cool article, Sandy. I have already joined RedGage and hope to do some heavy uploading there.
I took a look at RedGage. Not a badly designed site, but the comments are overrun with spam. It's a dying site.

There are some like that as in all sites. But I don't think it is overrun. You can also delete a spam comment.
